Welcome to the Hudson Valley! We’ll be kicking off the weekend with a welcome bash in the orchard at one of our favorite spots. Come mix and mingle. Dinner will be served.

Elijah(Isalyn’s brother)’s band will be performing and we’ll have a few special guests say a few words or play some tunes.

ATTIRE: Upstate fancy. Please come wearing blue and white. Inspiration mood board.

Transportation will not be provided. Little Apple is a 5-10 minute drive from the recommended lodging. There is parking at Little Apple. Carpooling encouraged.

Our ceremony will start promptly at 3:30PM. You are welcome to arrive as early as 3PM. The ceremony will be followed by dinner and dancing.

ATTIRE: Summer formal. Tie optional. Color, prints or patterns encouraged. Please wear your dancing shoes (and wedges, block heels, or flats for the ladies).

TRANSPORTATION:
If you plan to drive yourself, there is ample guest parking in the field at the entrance to Taconic Ridge Farm. Please allow extra time to park and walk up to the ceremony spot.

If you are staying at The Brooks, you can walk across the street to the venue. We recommend walking in groups since you have to cross NY-23 and please do not walk after dark.

We’re excited to host you at our house for a casual farewell brunch. Swing through for some coffee and bagels before heading home.

All meals will be served family style. Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any allergies we need to take into account when planning the menus.

WEATHER

All events will take place largely outdoors. July ranges from highs of 85°during the days to lows of 60° at night. We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather and will update you in the event of expected heat waves or rain storms to pack accordingly.

DRESS CODE

WELCOME PARTY: Upstate fancy. Please come wearing blue and white. Inspiration mood board (basically dress like Isalyn’s blue china collection).

CEREMONY & RECEPTION: Summer formal. Color, prints or patterns encouraged! Women: gowns or cocktail dresses. Men: Suits, tie optional.

Shoes

All events will be on grass. Welcome to the country! We recommend wearing comfortable shoes. For ladies this means block heels, wedges, or flats.

Kids

Taconic Ridge is a 21+ venue. No teenagers are allowed. The only kids allowed on the property are those in the wedding party. We will not be providing childcare.

That said, we love your kiddos! If you are traveling with kids, they are welcome to join for the Welcome Party or Bagel Brunch—just please let us know in advance so we can account for them.

Accessibility

Please let us know in advance if you require ADA accommodations or assistance. All venues are wheelchair accessible, though please note the outdoor nature of the events means there will be uneven terrain. Taconic Ridge Farm will have a golf cart available for those wanting a little extra help moving between on site locations.

TRANSPORTATION

No transportation will be provided on Friday or Sunday. Please plan to carpool.

On Saturday, buses will be provided to/from Little Cat Lodge & The Brooks.
